Project Description

Garage 6.0m x 7.0m

This Garage was built in Wanniassa to replace an existing Garage. The new garage was built forward of the old garage, to free up some space in the backyard, as well as provide security for the backyard. First Sheds managed the approvals, which included a relocation of overhead power, including installation of a new riser bracket, this is a common requirement when the structure you want to build is near existing mains power. There are couple options in these instances, including relocating the power underground or raising the connection point with a riser bracket. First Sheds can coordinate and organise this as part of the approval process.

The old shed and slab were removed, and First sheds completed the required earthworks. Our team poured the slab, as well as an extra ~100m2 for a driveway to street. Roller doors were placed on both front and back of the shed, to keep access into the backyard for both government and personal machinery, trailers, etc. (We also did that on this shed) Downpipes were hooked up to stormwater. The shed included skylights, windows, roller doors, and an access door. First sheds completed the electrical including a sub board in the shed, powerpoints, LED batten lights and electric roller door motors. The shed was completed with Trimdek walls (Classic Cream), and a Corrugated roof (Basalt).
